The research on positive learning of Chinese in senior high school was bora at the period when quality-oriented education and creative teaching become the leading theme in the education field in China. It is a new type of research and it takes Mengzi No.1 middle school as the research object. The positive learning of Chinese in senior high school respects students as the active participants and it regard the inner development of the students as the ultimate goal. This type of education includes six steps: reading, analyzing, appreciating, questioning, understanding and transferring. There are altogether four kinds of reading: listening, silent reading, reading aloud and chorusing. Reading enables the students to get a general idea of the targeted content and naturally form a feeling. Appreciating involves the students' feeling of some details like words, sentences, and paragraphs. This in fact aims at training their sensitivity to words. Questioning helps to establish a good habit to study so that they would ask any question they like. Instant understanding means to work out some laws, techniques, and life philosophies. Finally, transferring means expanding. It offers the students a chance to expand their learning well outside of the classroom. Actually, positive learning of Chinese in senior high school is a new educational principle as well as a new teaching mode. This research strongly holds that it is very important to change the traditional view of the teachers.
