The Present Situation Of Contemporary College Students' Life Values And Their Moral Education

The contemporary era is a global, plural, and informed new era. The market economic system is established. The trend of the coexisting thought of modernism and post-modernism makes the society transfer rapidly. With the more enrollment in the higher schools , the era of higher education massification has come. The moral education in higher schools needs change with the ages. Comparing with the past students, today's college students have new features and different moral behavior. In the October ,2005,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued "On Further Strengthen and Improve Ideological and Political Education of the College Students", that is, the 16^th document. The document made it clear that the "People-oriented "as the guiding thought for strengthening and improving the college students' political education, this is also the direction and the goal for the college students' moral education. To carry out the life moral education for the college students, the higher school's moral education should connect with the performance of their life values. We should take the most care of the individual student's life plight. The moral education should be people-centered, highlight the personal developing, educating people, guiding people, caring for people, helping people, linking closely the education with the happiness, freedom, dignity, ultimate value of the human. It should make the education be the truly human education, full of human care and moral sentiments, focusing on the development of personality and exploring the creating potential. So we should promote the life moral education for today's college students, so as to enhance the students' life meaning and values. Therefore the college moral education roots in the life and benefits for all his life.
