Life is precious, as highly educated and high intelligence of college studentsshould know more cherish their and the lives of others, but in recent years, collegestudents suicide and homicide of violence is often seen in the media, to cause theattention of the whole society. We know that college students are the backbone of thecountry, nation’s hope, whether their physical and mental health not only of his ownhappiness, and the relationship between the peace of the family, the more relationshipwith the school and social harmony and stability. Therefore, the implementation ofstudents’ life values education is one of the missions of colleges and universities needto be addressed.This article on college students’ life values education as the research subject, tocollege students as the research object, and so on successively appeared in recentyears the number of college students self harm and damage the phenomenon andissues of special studies of others, expect to analyze the causes of these problems andputs forward the approaches to solve the problem accordingly. Writing this article isdivided into four parts:The first part, through access to information, from the related basic concepts ofcollege students’ life values, thus systematically explore the essence of thecontemporary college students’ life values education theory, as the theoretical basis forfollow-up studies of this paper.The second part: based on the Marxism related issue of life values, and westernculture in the history of the life education thinking research and life philosophy as thetheoretical foundation of Chinese traditional culture, specially discusses thecontemporary college students’ life values education theory basis. Subsequently,problems of contemporary college students’ life values education to realize thenecessity of a systematic thinking.The third part: to analysis the status quo of current college students’ life valueseducation as a starting point, from the family education, school education, socialenvironment and the influence factors of college students’ personal several levelsspecifically analyzed the main factors affecting college students’ life values education. Part fourth part: combining the actual situation of the ideological characteristics ofcollege students and schools, to how to realize the college students’ life valueseducation from the aspects of basic principles and approaches for arguments, and thepreliminary exploration of the concrete.
