Simple Analysis On Contemporary College Students' Honesty Moral Values

Honesty, the traditional virtue of our Chinese nation, has gained people's praise since ancient time. However, there emerge various of concerns for social honesty state as the social economy develops. And the deficiency of honesty in college students is also a very serious problem and has already attracted the social attention. As an important area for cultivating the honesty of our students, universities become more and more obligated to improve the status of students' honesty. To achieve this goal, we must do some research on the current dishonesty and analyze the reasons, which may help to find a way to improve. The thesis focuses on the moral education on our students, and the purpose is to find supporting theories and practical instructions through the research. The thesis can be divided into three parts.The first chapter will give a vivid view of traditional Chinese honesty moral value and the illustration of it. And the ancient and current western honesty moral thoughts and the inspirations are also included.The second chapter will state the current situation of college students' dishonesty from three aspects: deficiency of integrity in learning, economic and associations.According to the research stated in the second chapter, the third chapter will talk about the reasons of why contemporary college students lack the integrity and moral values. The reasons discussed in this chapter can be divided into external factors and the internal ones.Based on the research of the first three chapters, the fourth part of the paper exposes some methods, which is to establish the integrity of the educational philosophy and moral education in Colleges and universities, to improve the way colleges and universities doing honesty and moral education, to expand the space of colleges and universities' moral education, and to establish a sound moral system in colleges and universities.
