With the rapid development of multimedia technology, the improvement of people's understanding on the multimedia teaching and the rapid improvement and renewal of computer's soft and hardware, it gives a larger space for applying multimedia courseware to the teaching. It is very important to correctly evaluate the multimedia courseware for improving the reasonable scientific and enough use, the management of multimedia soft and hardware resources, developing the multimedia teaching successfully in the teaching. It is a problem in nowadays development of education that the evaluation indicator system of multimedia courseware established with the developing view of evaluation. Through the analysis of today's outstanding world distance education standards, network courseware Certification Standards, multimedia courseware evaluation standard for primary and middle schools etc., Under the guide of behaviorism theory, cognitivism theory, constructivism theory and humanism theory, This paper completely and systematically analyses the multimedia courseware and its evaluation. It discusses the theory, target, idea, basic principle, establishment, test and confirmation of establishing multimedia courseware evaluation indicator system. It provides the reference and advice for all the teachers and educators in colleges &universities to use and manage multimedia soft and hardware resources, according to the different teaching options.This paper has six parts. The first chapter is introduction. It expatiates on the source of the problem, the purpose and significations of the research, the main contents of the research, the world research status, and the main research methods. The second chapter discusses some basic theories of establishing the evaluation indicator system of multimedia courseware, including behaviorism theory, cognitivism theory, constructivism theory and humanism theory. The third chapter analyzes the multimedia courseware and its evaluation. It analyzes the types and characters of multimedia courseware, the principles and methods of its evaluation. The fourth chapter discusses to establish the evaluation indicator system of multimedia courseware, including the aim, the thought of the research, basic principle, the establishment of the evaluation indictor and its system etc. The fifth chapter is the multimedia courseware evaluation indictor system test, its revision and confirmation. According to this system and the collected multimedia courseware, it gives both self-test and expert-test. And then make a confirmation of this system. The sixth chapter gives the conclusion and the expectation of this research.
