A Research On Method And Application Of Financial Performance Evaluation System Of Higher Education

The current situation is not quite desirable. Universities and colleges seldom evaluate their financial performance in the light of bettering their resources allocation, while few risk themselves by investing projects ineffectively. To make an in-depth study on the problems mentioned above and to systematically analyze the allocation of financial resources in them. It is necessary and feasible to establish certain financial evaluation indicator system, which will help us to assess their financial strength, to understand the efficiency and effectiveness of financial resources utilized. But the ideal financial indicators should be a comprehensively and muti-target system, which subject to the requirements of dynamic management, should employ systems analytic methods and AHP. From the financial point, the system systematically assess the ultimate performance of colleges and universities operation efficiency the limited indicators and may promote their comprehensive healthy development.This dissertation is an important part of "A research on financial performance evaluation system of higher education in Shanxi (04JK269)". I carry out my own theoretical study on financial Performance evaluation by investigating and review the domestic and foreign evaluation theories at present. The ideal financial performance indicator should be a comprehensive one reflecting the operation of the whole university in Shanxi. The multiple correlation coefficient (MCC) is used to sift financial evaluation indicator system for the first time. Projection pursuit (PP), improving genetic algorithm (IGA) and vector are used as a chief means of evaluating indicator and analyzing datum for the first time. The spider chart's application in the characteristic analysis of financial performance indicator makes up the limitation of IGA-PP-AHP-HW which only explains the relative strength of the targets. PP may study and analysis high-dimensional data;IGA can leave out many-dimensional datum's complex topological structure, successfully optimize projection function in the projection pursuit and properly combine the subjective weighting methods and the objective weighting methods properly;IGA is easily applied by someone who are unfamiliar with the mathematic theory and algorithm of it because IGA doesn't require the nature of the problem for some in-depth mathematical analysis. I apply concept of vector to correct the judgment matrix in AHP that isn't satisfied with better consistency. These enhance the maneuverability in decision-making and management.In the end, all of the work in the dissertation is summed up, and the future is proposed.
