The teaching notion of students as the centre is advocated in the new curriculum, which makes sure the relationship of teachers and students in the teaching activities under the new teaching program. What relationship is there between the patterns of students'studying activities and the teachers'teaching types? How do the teachers evoke these students'activities? The students need to feel the importance of the chemistry by being familiar with the living scenes and have more chances to experience the inquiry process from their existing experiences, which is advocated by the new chemical curriculum. These basic notions that experiencing the process of science investigation, blazing the interest in studying chemistry, intensifying the consciousness of science inquiry, advancing the changes of studying types , cultivating the innovated spirit and the practiced ability by different inquiry activities on the primary of experiments, are also advocated in the new chemical curriculum. Practicing these new notions needs to be discussed from the there relations of the teachers'teaching, the students'studying, teaching and studying. It remains more important that what types should be evoked to various kinds of studying activities by the teachers. From this, raising the task that study about the evoking types of students'studying chemical activities is to sum up some general laws from the connection between the types of middle school students'studying activities and the teachers'teaching types, to find out evoking types being fit to various kinds of studying activities, which could make sure the basic notions of the new chemical curriculum and stimulate the students to study.Three problems are solved in this study. First of all, the types of students'chemical studying activities are sure. There are three kinds of studying activities, which are experiment, investigation, and communication classified by the types of completed activities. Second of all, various kinds of patterns of students'chemical studying activities are sure. It includes nine kinds of patterns. They are setting up the stories'scenes, checking and preparing the school assignments, reviewing the known knowledge, experiment, revealing teaching and the media of studying, leading living examples and chemical historical facts. Third, the conditions of various evoking patterns of chemical studying activities are studied by the way of questionnaire survey. It contains the compared analyzing of teachers and students in the same kind studying activities'evoking patterns, the influences on the evoking types by the teachers'differences in the cities and countries, the influences on the evoking types by the different teachers'records of formal schooling and so on. The results are resolved by the soft of SPSS 13.The relevant differences are experimented by testing ratio.
