The chemistry language is a simple and standard manifestation of people's understanding chemistry, including the chemistry expressions, the chemistry terms, the chemistry idioms. It is unilateral for people to regard the chemistry language as the chemistry expressions. The chemistry language also differs from the language speech, which is a process of information transmission by using the chemistry language. If we confuse the chemistry expressions with the chemistry language or the chemistry speech, it's unfavorable to teaching practice. In our daily teaching, many teachers often ignore the training of the students speech ability, which will affect the formation of the chemistry thinking and the improvement of chemistry accomplishment.First, the meaning and the relationship of the chemistry expressions, the chemistry language and the chemistry speech are analyzed in my essay. After asking advice from those chemistry teachers in middle schools and the experts of chemistry teaching theory and the curriculum theory, my essay concludes 3 types of the chemistry language in detail from five modules, namely the formation and the type of substances, the nature and change of substances, chemical experiments, chemical calculation, and organic chemistry. Second, we know from the research on having classes in public and the questionnaires of students and teachers, the main factors which affect the students' chemistry speech ability are teaching methods, the students' learning levels, their chemical vocabulary and their expressing strategies. According to them, we can use proper teaching methods and strategies. Eventually, taking the students who must study chemistry in Senior 2 for example, I have carried out the teaching practice about how to train the students' speech ability, in order to test the result of the research.Based on this, I'll give the following suggestions:1. The teachers should improve their own chemistry speech, and become conscious of teaching chemistry speech.2. Lay emphasis on the training of oral language ability.3. Develop the habit of the students' reading chemistry books.
