Information plays an important role nowadays , so we usually do some works such as documents, plans, caption, survey reports, job generalization, design specifications etc, which needs the writer has good expression ability. Although we spend much time to study how to write, the writing ability of the students hasn't been improved much yet, especially for the students who are poor at writing. My degree paper, whose title is listed above, is based on this problem.A questionnaire was made in Yancheng Vocational senior middle school in Jiangsu province, to investigate the students' writing abilities. And a smooth way will be find to solve the problems mentioned above, so as to improve their writing abilities.The results suggest that most students have the desire to have high level on writing and the main problems of the writing are concluded by the following.Firstly, low language level and inefficiency in writing.Secondly, unable to analyze the materials given exactly.Furthermore, lack of ideation and unable to give a smooth writingFinally, little material and dull contentThe research shows that the whole writing process will be with the thinking action, and the higher thinking action, the better writing will be. Accordingly, I want to improve the writing ability of the students with 2 ways.Firstly, pay much practice on writing by multifarious ways so as to improve the writing and thinking abilities of the students.Secondly, construct a model of writing and thinking so as to make the abilities of writing and thinking.
