Education is a process concerning the development of students' emotion, so emotional education plays an important part in modern times .What's the emotional education in senior school ?It's aimed at developing high —grade social emotion quality of the senior students ,and promote their all-round ability by certain methods and tactics according to the regularity of senior students' body and mind. Researches suggest that positive emotion can make one think actively , while negative emotion may restrain one's normal psychological condition. Thus we can see entirely different teaching effects. So in our biology teaching ,it's necessary for teachers to focus on developing and stimulating students' positive emotion ,so as to improve biological competence fully.Emotional education has a strong value on training capable students. It promotes the development of the senor students in an all-round way. Considering the general aim of emotional education in high school , the contents of emotional education include three points: materialist dialectics and scientific methodology; value concepts and behavior rules; scientific attitude and scientific spirit; etc. then referring to emotional education during the process of biology teaching in senior school ,it should be carried out as followings: love students—train students' felling by love; improve students' recognition ability—train their feeling by reasons; use and create the environment—train the students feeling by environment. This thesis presents a brief introduction to emotional education. It deal with the background of biology affective teaching involving the connotation and the present study of emotional education. Then it analyzes the necessity for the promotion and research of biology affective teaching. It also provides theoretical foundation and significance for the research of biology affective teaching under the present condition of quality-oriented education , This thesis bases on the investigation into the present situation of emotional education in senior schools. It is found out that great majority of the biological teachers have paid less attention to the goals of emotional education in the process of designing the class teaching and have not carried out the goals of emotional education to the fullest in the process of biology teaching. Most students have failed to develop a coordinated approach between emotional quality and recognition. And I have actualized emotional education in the course of senior high school's biology education .This thesis has listed six cases which show the principles of emotional education.
