Research In The Practice Of Ideological And Political Education Among University Students, Majoring In Navigation

Today, with the rapidly development in the modernizing science, techology and economy, with the coming age of globalization and economization, knowledge and information gradually grow as the key factor in the social productivity, national competition and ecomonic development. Shipping industry is the important basic industry in China, whose development will greatly influence the whole national economy and social development. Under the booming of the shipping market all over the world, China is grabbing the chance to change into a giant in shippng field. It is difficult to come true without the person with ability and high quality. The key step to bring up the talents in this field is to strengthen the ideological and political education in the navigation majors. Therefore, how to further buildup the practice of the ideological and political education is becoming one important task for navigation departments in universities.Based on the references of current research methods in ideological and political education, this article focuses on the status quo in the subject area, sees from the angle of innovation and deliberates the effectiveness of the ideological and political education to students majored in navigation by means of creating new research methods, expanding research angles and enriching research results. The methodology is a combination of the theoretical and practical method, the qualitative and quantitative method, the macro-analysis and micro-analysis method, plus the incorporation of the general principles and special case study. This paper starts with the concept and characteristics of the ideological and political education, the opportunities and challenges to bring up talents in this field as well as the particularities of the navigation majors, it analyzes the importance and necessarity to strengthen the practice of the ideological and political education in the navigation majors. Afterwards, it reserachesand analyzes their psychological and ideological characteristics. Setting its foot on actuality in the practice of the ideological and political education, this paper mainly analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings. Finally, this paper proposes some deeper thinking about the constents, teaching methods of the ideological and political education in naigation departments. This essay emphases on the system building, polices and measures for the ideological and political education on university students in navigational majors, as well as the innovation and integration of the supporting resources and the improvements and perfection of the mechanism. Most importantly, the effectiveness-evaluation system put forward in this article provides a scientific foundation and feasible implementing methods to the effectiveness and efficiency of the ideological and political education for students engaged in navigation.This paper does some active thinking and conductive exploration in the activity, pertinence and practice about how to further build up the practice of the ideological and political education. Hopefully, it could brings some reference and practical meaning to the research in the field of practice of the ideological and political education.
