With the continual development of socialist market economy and constant promotion of reform and opening-up, the interaction of different thoughts and cultures, we can witness an increasing enhancement of independence, selectivity, diversity, and variability in nowadays university students. It is recognized that ideological and political education needs working efficiently in fostering young minds. A creative method utilizing students' mental and psychological characteristics should be in while the old one imparting knowledge literally should be out. The former should be a method closely sticking to the nature of students, to the combination of literal infusion and practical education. In other words, under the new trends over the world, it is more important to exercise the key role of practice education in cultivating quality individual ideological morality for our society, to ensure the university students to improve their ideological and moral qualities in social practice and rather than depend on theoretical education purely. However, based on the available documents, there is insufficiency on the research of Practice Education, especially on university students' ideological and political education. As the above mentioned, the present thesis adopts the methods of literature, survey, analysis, to make a systematic discussion of Practice Education.The analysis of Practice Education Method on university students' ideological and political education is the heavy difficulty of the whole thesis. Since the thesis takes the basic meaning, as well as the theoretical foundation of Practice Education Method on university students' ideological and political education as the point of departure, and keeps confirming the main problems, influencing factors during the implementation process of this method. Finally the thesis comes to an end of discussing some effective strategies for the further implement of Practice Education.Based on the existing research findings, the present thesis is original in the perspective. On one hand, a brilliant exposition on practice education is made from the angle of ideological and political education; on the other hand, exploration of some efficient measures is done from the point of improving methods of ideological and political education, for taking university students through ineffectiveness.Apart from the introduction and the conclusion, the thesis falls into three parts.The first part is a theoretical analysis on Practice Education Method on university students' ideological and political education. An initial analysis on the connotation and position of Practice Education Method is presented and followed by a systematic theoretical illustration, respectively from the parts of theory support, thought inheritance, thought reference.The second part makes a practical revaluation of Practice Education Method. Firstly, the author sorts out the development history of Practice Education Method on university students' ideological and political education in China, and analyzes its operation possibility. Secondly, a detailed analysis is further referred to, on the main issues and influencing factors during carrying out this method. Last but not the least important, the necessity of Practice Education from the aspect of practice, this lays the foundation for the following strategies.The third part is a further probe on Practice Education, on the problems existing in putting this method into effect. From the concrete form of this method, the author tries to put forward some strategies which further perfect this method, along with a self-examination on the growing trend of this method.
