Research On Our Country's Current Higher Vocational Education Reform & Development

After more than 20 years' reform and development, higher vocational education has become an important foundation of social economy development as well as an organic part of modern compulsory education system. According to the national 11th five-year development plan, we must steadfastly implement the strategy of relying on science and education to rejuvenate the nation as well as the talented person powerful nation strategy. So vocational education should be vigorously developed to give priority to education. The author analyze our country higher vocational education present situation and the existence question through clarifying the connotation, significance and the raise goal with the literature and the historical comparison.After borrowing developed country's successful experience on developing higher vocational education, the author carries on macroscopic and center view analysis on the questions existing in new time higher vocational education through three aspects—government achievement, school resources and talent cultivation. The author believes higher vocational education development needs coordinated and balanced development form government, society and schools. And there should be more character on talent cultivation reforms, more powerful arrive from enterprise and profession, better and stronger government achievement.
