Research On The Development Of Higher Vocational Education In Zhejiang During The Past Forty Years Of Reform And Opening Up

In 2018,China marks the 40 th anniversary of the reform and opening up.In the past 40 years,with the continuous advancement of China's vocational education reform,our country has made great effort to put forward the vigorous development of higher vocational education and also turned the demographic pressure into demographic dividend.Higher vocational education in Zhejiang starts late,but develops rapidly.Higher vocational education has not only played a positive role in promoting economic and social development,but also made outstanding contributions to the construction of modern vocational education system with zhejiang characteristics.On the occasion of the 40 th anniversary of reform and opening up,this paper aims to study the development process of higher vocational education in Zhejiang province in the past 40 years.On the one hand,it can take history as a mirror to provide lessons for the future development of higher vocational education in Zhejiang.On the other hand,it can also provide excellent Zhejiang models for the reform and development of higher vocational education in other areas of the country.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,Zhejiang's Higher Vocational Education can be divided into four periods of initial development(1978-1997),leapfrogging period(1998-2005),transformation and upgrading period(2006-2013),and innovation development period(2014-2018).Higher vocational education has experienced a historical transformation from small to large scale,from focusing on quantity to quality promotion,and has played a huge role in cultivating high-quality skilled talents and promoting the social and economic development of Zhejiang.Through consulting a large number of materials and combining with the relevant economic and social background,this paper also summarizes the achievements and experience of higher vocational education in Zhejiang province in the past 40 years,including relying on policies to implement the strategic position of higher vocational education,establishing a diversified school running system,building a modern vocational education system,increasing financial investment to improve school running conditions and strengthening connotation construction to improve the quality of education.Facing the current complex environment,this paper also puts forward some suggestions on the reform and development of Zhejiang higher vocational education in the future from such aspects as strengthening the macro-management,promoting the construction of "double-qualified teachers" and accelerating the training of international labor force and so on.
