| In order to make the sports unites in the university play the roles which they should have in the campus cultural reconstruction, to promote the college sports linking up the social sports. Based on investigation, documentation, mothematical statistics, this thesis made a systematics study on the current situation , restrict element and promoted countermeasure of the student sports unites in the universities of Fujian province, with the fourteen universities in Fujian province as objects of study. The author found that the student sports unites in the universities have the functions such as enriching the school life of the students, exerting the students'interests in sports, improving the health of the students, cultivating the abilities of accommodation and the consciousness of sports , promoting the development of the sports in the universities.But there are still some disadvantages in the student sports unites in the universities of Fujian province. Including: Most of them were set up five years ago spontaneously, they have consummate management systems, soft admittances and various of activities. However, the good and the bad are intermingled; Though most of the numbers are undergraduate, there are improper proportion of boys and girls and illogical structures; All these restrict elements such as the poor training condition ,the short of the funds and supports from government, the lack of propagandize and opportunities of exchanges slow down the development of the student sports unites in the universities in Fujianprovince.This thesis also gave some advice on how to promote the student sports unites in the universities in Fujian province. Including improve the manage structure, enhance the training of the cadreman of the unites, pay more attention to optimize the training condition,to strive for more supports from the government, strengthen the propagandize, and to get more chances to exchange with other unites.
