The study focus on the relation between 3-6 years old children' s oral language's developmental level and early reading's. There is study in theory research on the relation between oral vocabulary and the future ability of reading, but there is few similar researches in early childhood. The study attempts to provide more evidence for descriptive and evaluate the ample and varied phenomenon in young children's language development, and to help them develop all-around language better. The data in the study is from Project Bridge. The study chose 90 young children from the bottom class, the middle class and the top class in 3 kindergartens in Sichuan Province, involving 4 aspects: early reading, story-make narrative, narrative of familiar story and speaking freely. And it is found statistically that the correlation between young children's oral language's developmental level and early reading's is significant, especially one type's developmental level of oral language and early reading are mutual predictors. The result will enlighten kindergareners and parents in practice of young children's language education.
