The relationship between teachers and students is a system conformed by relationship between matters and people. It has several kinds of shapes. We can comprehend the complexity of the relationship between teachers and students from a new angle of view for "space" has a great many kinds of meaning in postmodern time. That is , from the space dimensionality, what the relationship between teachers and students mean? what it suffer from space? And what method can we get?This dissertation discusses the relationship between teachers and students from the two lays : the changes of social space' influence on the relationship and the kinds of relationship' suffering from school space barriers.Firstly , space is the result of social changes, Which means that the exist of social space is transformed from time, companying with accumulation of history. The relationship between teachers and students ties all trace of the history for it is in the social space. So we can understand the relationship on the base of the history of the development of relationship changes in China and western countries.Secondly, the relationship between teachers and students is contained in social space, and it can embody the features of social relations such as the compartmentalization of power, the function of ethic. The character of the transferable time of the contemporary social space brings new challenge, such as the influence of respecting teachers and thinking much of education , the orientation of the relationship between sellers and buyers, the conflict and amalgamation of multi-value exist, and the challenge brought by the demand of teaching benefits teachers as well as students and the newly dummy space.At last, in the transferable space, the contemporary relations between teachers and students also transfers to many kinds of shapes in the school space. In this process, it has encountered many barriers, like the spatial system is too rigid, the teachers forces into backstage space of students, and both teachers and students lack "the space" consciousness,etc. These barriers have also provided the certain enlightenment in many aspects: Strengthening teachers and students' "the space" consciousness, keeping a space distance, and making "the space" dialogue.
