Research On American Secondary Education

Along with the development of politics and economy in human society, the competition among contries has changed from the competition of the military power to the the competition of the national comprehensive strength. The key to win in this competition is to have more talent people, and the best way to achieve this goal is to give people better aducation. So every country has paying high attention to their education reform especial the reform of the secondary education.From last century on , more and more people are calling for ' Democracy' , and this is reflected by the reform of the secondary education , which means that we would have an integrate education instead of the traditional education form, which is streaming children to different middle schools. So some comprehensive middle school has been built up. And comprehensive education has become a trade of the education reform.As one of the country in the world .China also pay much to its secondary education reform. As there are many trouble caused by traditional ' double-track' education system, it is very important to change that education system into the ' single-track' one .This paper is try to give some suggestion to the secondary education reform in China, according to analysis the education reform in the USA: the reasons of the reform in the USA, the history of the reform , and also what measures they take to ensure the success of the reform , etc.
