Survey On China's Middle School PE Teachers Training

In this paper the author has given a deep research on the present status of China's middle school physical education teachers, which adopted documentary data, expert interviews, questionnaires, comparative analysis, etc. The research shows that there is a serious contradiction between China's Basic Education Curriculum Reform and Physical Education Undergraduate Curriculum Setup of Normal University, and the Physical Education Undergraduate Curriculum Reform of Normal University has lagged behind China's Basic Education Curriculum Reform. We found that Physical Education Undergraduate Curriculum Reform of Normal University couldn't keep up with the pace of reform in China' s Basic Education Curriculum Reform; The secondary sports teachers graduated from Normal University were lack of knowledge and understanding in "New Curriculum" . It resulted in high school physical education teachers graduated from Normal University didn't adapt themselves to the current "New Curriculum" directly , whereas they need get a further education.This paper makes a breakthrough in Undergraduate Curriculum Reform of Normal University and we put forward a suitable countermeasures and proposals as follows in middle school physical education teachers' training mode of our country based on national conditions, economy, cultures and education. First, to adjust to Physical Education Undergraduate training objectives and specifications of Normal University ; Second, to construct the new curriculum standards in Physical Education Undergraduate Curriculum of Normal University ; Last but not least, to put forward a new Physical Education Undergraduate Curriculum System of Normal University.
