Teachers are the first resources for education. It must admit that the lowefficiency of the training is still an important problem bothering the teachers’ training.The reasons lead to this problem can be various, and they are interrelated to each other.But the most fundamental one is lacking of the analyses of the teachers’ need analysis.Hardly teachers participate in the process of designing of the training plan and theimplementation of the plan, the passive participation of the teachers, the no activeresponses to the teachers’ real needs, even not be identified, if this situation will becontinuous, the attraction for training could be gradually decreased, the organizers andthe trainers’ attempt to promote the professional development through training will bedifficult to achieve, and that will inevitable to some extent influence the improvementof the quality of school education.Training demand analysis is a process to identify and analyze the learners’learning needs. The training demand analysis is very important, it is the premise fordetermining the training objectives, designing the training courses and implantationthe plan, also the basis for evaluating the training effect. Attaching great importanceto the training demand analysis and making the training have the effective responsesto the schools and teachers’ training analysis is a necessary option for improving thepractice of teachers human resources development, is also a sally port for improvingthe teacher quality, through the scientific method to identify, analyze and conform theteaches’ training demands, and targeted designing and implementing the trainingcourses according to the demandsAt home, little research was concerned about the training demand analysis,therefore, the author find meanings by conducting this kind of research. An importanttask before doing the training of the rural physical education teachers is to maketraining demand analysis. The research objects of this study are the full-timereplacement program of the rural junior middle school physical education teacherswho participated in the“the national training plan” in2012. The methods used in thisstudy mainly include: the literature material law method, questionnaire method, expertinterview method, web browsing method, logical analysis method, data processingmethod, classroom observation etc.The study attains the situation of the current quality and the training demand ofthe rural middle school physical education teachers. Then some problems were foundafter making a detailed analysis of the results. Based on the Barabara mode of needanalysis, designing the training courses is to provide a strategy for solving the specificproblems of the training rural middle school physical education teachers in rural areas.Aiming to provide some help for scientific teachers training centers through theresults of this research and having some reference value for establishing scientificteachers training systems or training plan.
