Shot put, which is based on strength and depends on velocity, is one of the non-periodic throwing events. It is the only throwing event which uses both glide and spin to accelerate. Many researchers in and abroad did a lot of researches on delivery, and with the application of three -dimensional photography technology in the research in recent years, the form and essence of delivery are realized further by people .Although coaches and teachers made many bold attempts on training and teaching of shot with different weight and achieved great effectiveness, they were not aware of the essence of it. To explore the impact that shots with different weight have on the same athlete, the common trends that different athletes have on technological changes and the inspiration that the changing trends have on specific force of shot, this paper studies shot put of 8 athletes who have participated in university sports meeting of Hubei Province by means of biomechanics testing, mathematics statistics and expert interviews. The results show that: (1) Slip movements of different shots in different stages of technology are quite different. The speed, angle, height of the shot, the allocation of time in all stages, speed of gravity displacement, right ankle(knee, hip)joint, left hip, trunk angle are more or less different.(2)Backsliding shot put of different weight has kinematical difference. In the sliding phase, there are differences on sliding distance and time, but the differences are small; At the end of sliding, there are differences on angles of each physical joint, especially right knee and hip joint.
