In field event, shot put is a complex event that spins along sorts of axis and it takes strength as its basis, velocity as its focus. Shot put has undergone many innovation during over 650 years' development since the very beginning. With the skill innovation, the performance in this field has been highly inproved and the records are ofen broken. All these innovations start from the increase of the lengh of sliding and increase the velocity of release. According to the mechanical formula, s = v2 sin 2a/g, the key factor that affects the performance of shot put is the initial velocity in the whole course.Right side spurt is a process of continous spurt. It is the commencement of every phase and it runs through the whole course. So right side spurt affects profoundly the performance and the addition of velocity. Therefore, it is necessary to make a further research on it.Research Method: Studying subject are four female side sliding shot putters, Research methods are mathematic statistics and three-dimensional-testing. We put two JVC GR-DVL 9800 mini camcorders made in Japan on the back of circle and the right side. We appying the AIJlE-sporta film analytical system,collect the picture and count data.With the three-dimensional-testing force platforn and three-dimensional digitized shot ,we measured the technique of shot put. Counted and assay the dynamic data with Dynamic Analysis Software made by the Chinese Academy of Science, to find the technique charactcteristics of athlete. By theresearch of the index of sports and mechanism of the players, we found the player' shortcomings and sought the appropriate measure to deal with these problems, thus to make their skill perfect.The result.1. Sliding phase: The athlete's center of gravity should backward lead , and the upper body pitch to keep balance, the right leg actively stretch out on the delivery direction at the lead of the left leg.2. Transition phase: the right leg landon theground with right fro-sole,and active pinch knee,decrese the angle of landing of the right foot , sodecrese the brake force of horizontal and the impulse force of vertical .The right leg push the hipbone swing to ready for over apparatus.3. The last spurt phase: at the begining of the last spur phase,orizontal componet force of the right foot keep a high level, the right leg continually turn and tread the hipbone forword. With the deliver of the stretch force,the body whip foword and the right arm push the shot out.4. The working special feature of right arm : At the begining of the last spur phase , the direction of exertion of the right arm isupward,upward and rorward,overhang forward at last.
