Effects Of Aerobic Training On Skeletal Muscle Metabolic Enzymes In Difference Ageing Mice

AIM of investigation : To provide experimental evidence for choice the most suitable time of endurance training for developing the aerobic capacity of teenager and do support for theoretical research on aerobic endurance training for skeletal muscle by viewing and discussing the effect on the active of metabolic enzyme of skeletal muscle of mice at different weeks old.Methods of investigation : Thirty-two female Kunming mice were selected and divided into four group: 3 weeks old training group 6 weeks old training group 12 weeks old training group and control group with 8 mice in each group. The control group was living in normal environment and training groups (2% bodyweight load ) swam for 2 weeks, 6 times per week ,one time per day ,and 2 hours for each time .When training groups were 18 weeks old they do same exercise again . When all mice were 20 weeks old, they were all put to death with 4% sedative pentobarbital sodium. Enzymohistochemistry was used to study the activity of SDH LDH ATPase and the amount of PAS in skeletal muscle of mice was showed by PAS reaction. OLYMPUS light microscope was used to observe, imagepro5.1 was used to image analysis, and used SPSS10.1 to dispose statistics.Results of investigation : (1) When 20 weeks old , comparing the control group, the activity of SDH in 3 weeks old swimming group were highly significantly increased ( P<0.01), the activity of SDH in 6 weeks old swimming group was significantly increased ( P<0.05 ) ;Comparing 6 weeks old swimming group, the activity of SDH in 3 weeks old swimming group were significantly increased (P<0.05) ;Comparing 12 weeks old swimming group, the activity of SDH in 3 weeks old swimming group were highly significantly increased (P<0.01) .The above showed the endurance training helped to develop the activity of SDH and the time which mice do exercise is younger ,the increase of the activity of SDH is more obviously . ( 2 ) When 20 weeks old , comparing the control group, the activity of SDH in 3 weeks old swimming group were significantly decreased ( P<0.05) , the activity of SDH in 6 weeks old swimming group and 12 weeks old swimming group were decreased but no difference was existed among their. The above showed the endurance training decreased the activity of SDH and the time which mice do exercise is younger ,the decrease of the activity of LDH is more obviously . (3) When 20 weeks old, no difference activity of ATPase was existed among the control groups, 3 weeks old swimming group, 6 weeks old swimming group and 12 weeks old swimming group. (4) When 20 weeks old, comparing the control group, the glycogen capacity of skeletal muscle of mice in the 3 weeks old swimming group and 6 weeks old swimming group were highly significantly increased (P<0.01) ;comparing 12 weeks old swimming group, the glycogen capacity of skeletal muscle of mice in 6 weeks old swimming group were significantly increased (P<0.05) ; comparing 12 weeks old swimming group, the glycogen capacity of skeletal muscle of mice in 3 weeks old swimming group were highly significantly increased (P<0.01) ; comparing 6 weeks old swimming group, the glycogen capacity of skeletal muscle of mice in 3 weeks old swimming group were significantly increased (P<0.05) . The above showed the endurance training helped to develop glycogen capacity of skeletal and the time which mice do exercise is younger ,the increase of glycogen capacity of skeletal muscle is more obviously .Conclusion of investigation : The endurance training helped to develop the aerobic capacity of mice in 3 and 6swimming groups, especially the 3 weeks old swimming group. On the other hand, the endurance training reduced the glycolysis capacity of skeletal muscle of mice in the 3 weeks old swimming group, but the effect of the endurance training on glycolysis capacity of skeletal muscle of mice in the 6 weeks old swimming group and 12 weeks old swimming group was not sure. Therefore , young children period was the best time to have aerobic endurance training for developing the activity of skeletal muscle aerobic metabolic enzymes.
