At present, elementary education conversion in China, from examination-oriented education, which aims to adapt students to exams to character education, which lays stress on training students' comprehensive character, is in critical period. Though training intelligence factors of middle school students in such circumstance is the most important, yet developing their non-intelligence factors contributes a lot in advancing character education and bringing up high-level competent people, and it is also indispensable.The ideology and politics teaching in middle schools has a close relation with the training non-intelligence factors of students. Politics text books, with its special moral education aims and nature, not only contain more non-intelligence intension but also provide more materials and clear requirements than other subjects. Basing on many years of politics teaching in middle schools, investigation and analyst's of present non-intelligence situation in both rural areas and cities, the author tries to prop practical and effective methods in training non-intelligence factors of the students in middle school politics class, to probe how to improve teaching results in politics class by proper teaching methods and proper learning methods of the students, so that we could promote character education and bring up all-round developed person.Under the guidance of modern teaching theories and ideas, the author probed the main ways of training or developing non-intelligence factors for students in politics class by taking individual cases for examples, grasping the feelings of the students, making full use of content of textbooks, adopting flexible and diversified methods, extending properly, enriching activities after class, paying attention to the teacher's non-intelligence effect on students. And also the writer made an objective analysis and appraisal about non-intelligence training results in politics class on both teachers' and students' sides.The paper tries to show the scientific and effective role which politics teaching plays in training non-intelligence factors of middle school students, tries to arouse the interests and motives to change the students' learning methods, develop their willing and characters by using proper non-intelligence training methods in politic class, so that we could promote their all-round development physically and mentally. Meanwhile, it urges teachers to pay attention to their own non-intelligence development, to endeavor to gain professional proficiency, to bring forth new ideas in teaching constantly, and make them more qualified teachers.
