A Research On Financing Risk Control Of Higher Education In China

Since the increase in enrollment of high education in1999, Chinese high education has achieved three changes, namely from elite education to public education, from public financing to diverse financing, and from under the plan economy to under market economy, respectively. The simultaneous improvements in both education resources and scales have a positive influence on Chinese high education. However, the growing investment from 1999 has made many universities involved in debt. As the investment period ends, the pressure is more and more fierce, posing potential threat on high education. As a result, debates on how to control financing risk has both theoretical and practical meaning. Using theoretical and practical methods about finance, accounting and education, the article analyzed the reasons, forms and methods for controlling. Compared with foreign countries and based on Chinese practice, the author offered the improvement strategies about the model and risk control.
