The Strategies Research On How To Strengthen The Ideological And Political Education To The Impoverished Students

In recent years, with the implement of the pay-policy and the development at top speed of scale in higher education, the number of impoverished students in colleges and universities is increasing. The growing problems of the impoverished students have been arousing theconcern of the high leaders and personalities of various circles.Currently, however, the help to those impoverished students by the colleges and universities is concentrating on the material rather thanon the ideological and political education. The researches on theproblems of the impoverished students by scholars are also laying particular emphasis on the economic and psychological assistance instead of many systematic researches on the ideological and political education to them.In view of the common-existing phenomenon of concentrating on the material rather than on the ideological and political education in colleges and universities, the paper, on the basis of the author's research and investigation on work of the local colleges and universities' on the impoverished students, advocates that it is quite necessary for the colleges and universities to pay equal attention on the economic and psychological assistance as well as the ideological and political education.
