A Study On The Ideological And Political Education Of Poor College Students And The Countermeasures

With the continuous expansion of enrollment, the numbers of students with financial difficulties in colleges have also increased gradually. Those special college students have many social problems because of the deviation in their minds and the error of the orientation of the values. Nowadays, how to solve those problems of the impoverished college students has become the significant problem which should be paid more attention to by the ideological and political educators.Strengthen the study of those problems is the basis of realizing "people-oriented" and the premise of making people’s comprehensive development and also the inevitable requirement of building the harmonious society.However, for a long time, because of the limitation of the ideological and political education in our country, we usually pay more attention to giving those poor college students economic supports, and ignore the psychological and the ideological education. Various phenomena show that the financial hardship is no longer the biggest problem. What result in a weak position and cause a lot of social problems are the lack of spirit of self-improvement, and the incorrect world outlook as well as outlook on their lives.. So what we should do is to strengthen the ideological and political education of college students and to guide the poor students out of the error of thought, and correct attitude, face and accept themselves rightly, and then form the correct values.The first chapter expounds the reasons why I select the topic and the significance of the research, summarizes the research status at home and abroad, illustrates the methods as well as the innovation in this paper. At the same time, analyzes the theoretical basis of impoverished undergraduates from different angles.The second chapter discusses how to define the impoverished college student.At first, from the perspective of the social, family and individual, I analyze the cause of the poor students in colleges and universities. Secondly, I elaborate the particularity of the poor college students in such aspects as thought, psychology and life. Finally, I analyze the effects of poor students in colleges.The third chapter mainly studies the present situation of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities and analyzes the necessity of strengthening the ideological and political education, concludes the significance of it, and then illustrates the achievement and shortage of the ideological and political education work in colleges.The four chapter analyzes the concept, working content and working methods of the ideological and political education of impoverished undergraduates, puts forward to that we should change the old concept of work and improve the content of the ideological and political education of the impoverished undergraduates and innovate the methods of working and strengthen the ideological education of poor students and guide the poor college students grow up and also realize their own values.
