As the coming of the age of Life-long study and the overall advance of the eighth courses reforming of basic education , people lay more and more emphasis on teacher development. In order to realize the purposes of courses reforming , how to get the teachers to understand and accept the logos of new courses and put them into use , turn the ideal courses into actual courses and show the effects on the students is the more important besides working out the new courses standard and teaching materials .This thesis analyze the differences between the standard of new English course and the past Leading priciples of English teaching and the characteristics and tactics in the course of the realization of the new English course standard. It also analyzes the teacher development ,tell the logos of teachers , transition of role and action of the teachers , analyze the characleristics and contacts of English teacher development, the talents English teachers must have. It also put forward the ways, problems and solutions of English teachers ,let every English teacher find their own position in the English course reforming, give their corresponding response ,promote their speciality development by means of course reforming so as to improve the standard of English teacher development,innovate their teaching thought, teaching actions and teachingmethods,let them re-cultivate thencselves, re-build the teaching style, and in the end advance with the new courses.
