Analysis Of Existent Circumstances Of Social Practice & Countermeasure Research

Social practice is an integral part of a school's educational activities, and coupled with classroom teaching, it is one of the basic means to cultivate future talents, what's more, it is also an important link never to be missed whatsoever for these growing teenagers for them to convert textbook knowledge into practical skills and useful experiences. In the recent years various forms of social practices have been developed under the state's educational system, yet their effectiveness is still deeply in doubt. Thus, this paper attempts to investigate, analyze and introspect the current middle school social practice activities, and from the perspective of theories and practice, to explore a valid strategy and path towards effective enhancement and comprehensive development of social practice activities in the curriculum reform. The main contents of the paper go as follows:Introduction: As the logic departure point of research, this chapter analyzes the social backgrounds as well as the theoretical and practical implications of the issue under scrutiny, and illustrates the writer's ideology and methodology for research.The first chapter: Elaborates the extensive and intensive meanings, contents, forms and means of students' social practices, and analyzes the theoretical foundation of such activities from philosophical theories, educational theories and psychological theories.The second chapter: Includes an elaborate analysis of the current status quo of social practices in middle schools. Within more than 600 school students, teachers and parents from six schools within the jurisdiction of Quanzhou city(including city public high schools, private schools and public high schools in the rural areas), a sample survey has been conducted in order to seek to reflect objectively and comprehensively the current situation of middle school social practices.The third chapter: Expounds the existing problems in middle school social practices and their relevant causes.
