Research On Cultivating Students' Scientific Spirit In The Instruction Of Ideology And Politics

Scientific spirit is the nature and soul of science. It is indispensable to each person, each country and nation. The development of history and reality proves that we must cultivate the scientific spirit from the student's early youth. This paper, combined with the characteristics of the teaching of ideology and politics, investigation and my personal experience in the practice of instruction, I probe into the theory and operative tactics of cultivating the student's scientific spirit in the teaching of ideology and politics from two aspects of theory and practice.This research is divided into three parts.Part one elaborates that scientific spirit is the profound connotation of the ideology and politics. It separately elaborates on the demarcation and indication of the general idea of scientific spirit; the status of cultivating scientific spirit in the field of education; the education reform background for cultivating scientific spirit; it is the demand of reform for the new curriculums and the necessity for developing the instruction concept. The relationship between the scientific spirit and the instruction of ideology and politics is that: it is the essence of the ideology and politics instruction; it is the natural demand of the instruction of the ideology and politics' three-dimensional objects, it is the guarantee for whipping up the students' interest in learning ideology and politics' instruction.Part two analyzes the present situation and the causes of cultivating the scientific spirit in the ideology and politics instruction. The problem is that the objective of traditional ideology and politics teaching neglects the cultivation of the students' scientific spirit; the contents of textbooks neglects the reveal of the scientific spirit; teachers' apathetic scientific conscious ignores the cultivation of scientific spirit; the students' indifferent scientific spirit affects the cultivation of scientific spirit. The reasons are the affects of the traditional teaching modes; the lack of the teachers' own scientific quality; the pressure of examination policy; the lack of the environment atmosphere for cultivating scientific spirit.Part three discusses the research on the countermeasures for cultivating scientific spirit in the instruction of ideology and politics. First of all, the specific aspects of cultivating the students' scientific spirit in the ideology and politics' teaching are respectively the spirit of the pursuit of truth and the seek of the truth from facts; the spirit of explore and brave creation; the spirit of marching forward in spite of all the difficulties; the cooperative spirit of unit and coordination; the spirit of doubt and...
