The Comparative Study On The University Students' Participant Motivation Of Tennis Sport In Hubei Province

Sport participant motivation is the intrinsic motivity of students'participating the sports actively. To a prodigious extent, it affects the action of students'participant sports. Only enhance the students participating motivation, can the teaching quality of PE classes be improved and spur the students to participate the sports, following out the guiding theory of"Health comes first". Basing on the actuality of the development of tennis in high school, the writer thinks that it is necessary to do a research on the participant motivation of the students who are majoring in tennis and those who are taking as a selective course. It can provide theoretical proof and information for the designation and innovation of the tennis curriculum to make clear the students participant motivation and take relative measures.This paper, on the basis of the researchful materials, makes a research on the students who are majoring in tennis and those who are taking it as selective course through questionnaire survey and mathematical statistic. The result of the research is as following:1.The participant motivations of the students who are majoring in tennis and those who are selecting it are divided into three types, which are intrinsic motivation, outer motivation and motivation weakenization. And both of the intrinsic motivations are apparently stronger than the outer ones.2.There is some obvious difference about intrinsic motivation, outer motivation and motivation weakenization between the students who are majoring in tennis and those who are taking as a selective course. The intrinsic motivation and outer motivation of the majoring students are obviously stronger than those who are not, while the motivation weakenization of the students who are taking tennis as selective course are more obvious than the ones who are majoring in it.
