Research On The Managerial Mode Of Students From Abroad In Universities For Overseas Chinese

Universities for overseas Chinese are founded to cultivate advanced and specialized talents among overseas Chinese, Hong-Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots, returned overseas Chinese's children, as well as domestic youth. Nowadays, many universities have been recruiting students from abroad, besides universities for overseas Chinese. Therefore, to have a research on the managerial mode of students from abroad in universities for overseas Chinese is to make the students' management more pertinent and effective. That will be a paradigm to be referred to for other universities that recruit students from abroad.To obtain the basic data for this thesis, the writer investigated in the university on overseas Chinese , for first-hand material, with the questionnaire titled Survey of students from abroad in universities for overseas Chinese among 715 students from abroad, coming to the statistically analyzed results. Principally beginning with the exploration in the moral education and daily management of the student administration in universities for overseas Chinese, this thesis points out the insufficiency of current student managerial mode in those universities: the neglect of the characteristics of the students from abroad, the complicated administrative levels, the failure to bring into play the professors' impact on the students' daily lives, also the insufficiency of the administrators or the administration: the bureaucracy, the disorder, the lack of understanding of the characteristics...
