In 2001,the Ministry of Education issued the "outline of curriculum reform of basic education(trial)" and other documents,and it officially launched a new round of basic education course reform,aiming at the construction of basic education curriculum system with Chinese characteristics.In the face of the national medium and long-term education reform and development plan,the curriculum system is the feature of the new curriculum reform according to the school's own cultural resource advantages.Hainan Province is a traditional hometown of overseas Chinese.It has an extremely rich local history resources and has formed a strong culture of overseas Chinese in the long-term development.In the area of education reform,Hainan middle schools can bring the advantages of the culture of overseas Chinese into full play,combine the historical resources of the hometown with the history teaching of middle schools,and improve the system of school curriculum setting.Through the method of literature inquires and the method of field investigation,this paper understands the current situation of school-based curriculum in secondary school of Hainan Province.On the basis it launches the trial of school-based curriculum of overseas Chinese history.In this way these special school-based resources of Hainan middle schools can be an important part of secondary schools' history education,which can commit to the diversified development of students,schools,and overseas Chinese hometown culture.Full text includes four parts like introduction,text,conclusion and reference.The text part is divided into four chapters,the first three chapters of which elaborate the meaning of launching school-based curriculum of overseas Chinese history,the present situation of school-based curriculum,and the principle of school-based curriculum development of overseas Chinese history,and demonstrate the feasibility of school-based curriculum development of the overseas Chinese history.In the last chapter,the paper attempts to develop the school-based curriculum of overseas Chinese history and culture,and it also demonstrates the mutual promotion between the history of overseas Chinese and the history of middle schools.
