Since the ancient times, the prosperity and rise of a nation cannot depend on "the innovation". But the key of innovation lies in the talented people who have innovative ability. The graduate education will be on the top of higher education. The graduate students are the main origin of creative persons in future. On the time of knowledge economy, it is especially urgent and important to improve the creativity of graduate students. Therefore, it is extremely important that how to raise their creativity. This discusses attempts from the view angle of knowledge, to study the relationship of humanities knowledge and the innovation ability.The thesis always persists in the principle of concretely study and prevented exudes. It seeks a new visual angle from the overlapping field, and firmly grasps the basis of the thing. Therefore, it only researches on sciences and engineering graduate students. For the characteristics of their creativity, the thesis analyses the insufficiency of their creativity, and thinks that it is the real reason for the insufficiency of their creativity that the lack to accumulate and assimilate humanities knowledge. From the concrete angle of humanities knowledge, this discussion draws up constructive and feasible suggestions.The article firstly discusses analyses the present situation of the creativity of sciences and engineering graduate students, and compare it with our nation's demands of the creativity of high level talented persons. Through the comparison, it discovers the distance of these two parts, and the reason for the insufficient creativity of sciences and engineering graduate students, and gets the conclusion that humanities knowledge accumulation assimilation is lack.From two angles of the knowledge shape and the psychology, the article conducts the relation between the humanities knowledge and the creativity of sciences and engineering graduate students. And then it makes the conclusion that the accumulation and assimilation on humanities knowledge is very important to the creativity.After completed above research analysis, the thesis proposes the methods on enriching humanities knowledge of sciences and engineering graduate students and then raising the creativity, from consciousness idea, knowledge sharing, the curriculum system, the scientific research practice, the teacher and the student own six aspects.
