Chinese good traditional culture has an exuberant vitality and great impact , owing to its higher ideology and social value. The state and social development require today's student with an ideal , moral , literate and disciplinary personality. There is an inevitable historical relation between them. Personality is a production of culture. College students are the masters of the twenty first century. The students should root in the good traditional culture to overcome their own shortcomings ; to cultivate their spirits of times and mould themselves with an diamond healthy personality suitable to the needs of the times. Which means that the components in personality structure develop healthily, all-sidedly and harmoniously, which makes a person adjust himself to the social surrounding successfully.The dissertation consists of four parts to study in personality and personality education in Chinese good tradition culture . Starting with research of Chinese ancient ideal personality, the article points out the value of traditional culture . through The survey, it indicates that the students' personality at current phase is no optimistic. The personality education is an urgent problem for schooling to solve. The training of students' personality calls for personality education absorbing spiritual nourishment from Chinese good traditional culture. At last, the article indicates the aim, contents and principles of the personality education of high schools in comparison with China's high school national conditions.
