The teacher professional development is the tide and trend of the reform and development of international teacher education; similarly, it is the practical requirement of the procession's build of our elementary and middle teachers. Reasonable evaluation is one of the key parts for teacher professional development. Reasonable evaluation is helpful to teacher professional development to perform. Reform of the chemical course is performing step by step according to the plan currently in china. The education and profession development of chemical teacher is the key to perform the new chemical course all right. It is necessary to establishment the evaluating indicators which is useful to hasten the growth of the chemical teachers. The establishments the evaluating indicators make the teachers clear to their advantage and disadvantage of the professional development. It is summarized to the theory and experience of teachers'professional development. It is taken into consideration to the characters of secondary chemic subject and the requirements for the chemic teachers. An evaluating indicators system is establishment based on above all.There were four parts in the paper:(1) The first part is introduction. It is given to the purposes, significance, study procedure and study means of the paper is given based on discuss of teacher professional development procedure and its evaluation.(2) The second part is theory. The concepts about the professional development evaluation, including its connotation, function and other factors which influence it are differentiated and analyzed. The idea and accordance of evaluating indicators system are given.(3) The third part is demonstration. Firstly, the study plan was made according to basic principal and idea of evaluating indicators system. The evaluating indicators were collected after material from reference text. Secondly, the"inquiry questionnaire for evaluating of the secondary chemic teachers"professional development"is made according to the collected evaluating indicators. Thirdly, the questionnaire is called back and the data was processed by the cluster method and factor analysis method. Then the key indicators are reclassified. The indicators were modified by the suggestion of expert also. So the evaluating indicators were confirmed. The weight of the indicators was made by factor analysis. At last, the"chat syllabus"based on the analyses result is made. Chat is made with 7 experts who major in chemic education in ChongQing. The result show that the evaluating is scientific and feasible.(4) The last part is conclusion and expectation. It is given those innovations in the paper and the questions to be studied in the future.
