Study Of The Application Of Blog In Education

As the information technology is used in education more and more deeply, how to make use of the modern internet media to improve the efficiency of study and work has become a common concern among educators. Recently the fourth internet medium blog has been introduced to education and this has suggested new ideas on individual study, network learning and management of schools.Based on former research, our research subject is to discuss the advantages of blog among the internet media from the point of psychology and study the open function of blog from the point of mass communication. At the same time, we took the students of Nantong University as our research objects and introduced the blog platform to the course of "education technology" and the class management. Based on investigation and analysis, we discussed the positive impact of the blog on education applications.This paper mainly consists of the following parts:Firstly, we give the definition and characteristics of the blog, and give a summary of survey of related papers on blog applications in education.Secondly, we discuss the impact of blog on education from three angles: impact of medium on study, open function of blog medium, the advantage of blog in learning.Thirdly, taking the students of Nantong University as research objects, we establish a blog learning platform for the course of "education technology" and a class management platform. After a tracking survey of one term, we discuss and summarize the general rules of applications of blog in teaching and management.Finally, we conclude the creative points of the paper and discuss the prospect of applications of blog in education.
