Experiment Study On Football Course Of PE Majors Guided By The New Teaching Syllabus

While the reform in the elementary PE course needing the thinking and requirements of the major PE course reform in the colleges and universities, football course, as a main subject in PE major, should adapt to this reform. In the analysis of football class hours in PE major course of ECJTU, as well as other universities, this thesis found that the class hours for the basic skills take half of the whole hours. Influenced by traditional teaching method, the teaching and exercise of football course are not very practical. And students feel there is a lack of choice, exploratory work and self-determination in the professional football teaching, and they can't experience the pleasure of playing football.Guided by the new teaching syllabus, the thesis first analyses the actualities and problems of football course teaching of PE majors in the colleges and universities. From the aspects of the designing of teaching purpose, the choice of teaching contents, the designing of teaching process and the exercise of teaching methods, we can optimize the football teaching and form an efficient, scientific and popular teaching process, and we can also probe into the scientific football major course which can motivate students to learn. The results of the research show that compared to the traditional football teaching method, designing the new pattern football teaching, which guided by the new teaching syllabus, can highly improve the students' football practical abilities and greatly increase their football interests.
