Thai high school takes Chinese as one of the major courses,and Chinese has become one of the foreign language majors in Thai high school.There is still no unified Chinese syllabus and assessment syllabus in Thailand.Under the guidance of the National Teaching Guidance Committee,Thai high schools compile their own syllabus and assessment syllabus according to their own characteristics.This paper takes RS2S high school in Bangkok,Thailand as the research object,and compares the Chinese syllabus and evaluation syllabus compiled by the high school.The comparison shows that,from the perspective of language elements,the twosyllabusesthemselves are both incomplete and scientific,and their matching degree is poor.Generally speaking,the requirements of evaluation syllabus are higher than those of teaching syllabus.From the perspective of function,the requirements of the two syllabuses are different to some extent.The requirements of teaching content,learning standards(objectives)and course requirements are not consistent.However,in general,the matching degree of the two syllabuses is higher than that of language elements.We also usetwo research methods,classroom observation and interview,to study the implementation of the syllabus in Chinese teaching in Thai high schools.The study finds that teachers' loyalty to the syllabus is low,and the matching degree between classroom teaching and the twosyllabuses are not satisfactory.Thai high school teachers do not pay much attention to the requirements of the syllabus,but mainly rely on their own teaching experience to teach,in fact in the teaching process has been a thorough adaptation of the syllabus.Finally,we give some suggestions for the compilation of Chinese syllabus in Thai senior high schools: First,each school should establish and improve the Chinese syllabus and evaluation syllabus according to its own characteristics according to the actual situation of the school,so as to guide the teaching and prevent the decentralization and blindness of teaching.Second,high schools can refer to theGeneral Chinese Curriculum Syllabus,HSK Syllabus and The Chinese Advanced Study Teaching Syllabus of Chinese colleges and universities to compile their own syllabus,and should attach importance to scientificity.Third,each high school should strictly implement the outline.Teachers have the obligation to complete the teaching under the provisions of the syllabus,and the school has the right to supervise the matching degree between the teaching and the syllabus.
