Facing our adult education dominated by its values of techniques, knowledge and utility declining to an education which attends trifles and neglects essentials, facing its every kind of distortion to adult's life during its practice, such as the distorted object, the partial contents, the contrary relationship between teachers and students and the extreme application of electronic media, we should think how we can make the distorted adult education return to the natural one, that is to say, return to the existence of adult's life, which is the basic of our thinking.Adult education should be a kind of life education. We probe into and establish the values of life adult education from the three dimensions of adult life education. The values are supported and maintained by the education for adult's physiological life, the education for adult's spiritual life and the education for adult's social life. In detail, the education for adult's physiological life includes keeping the nature of adult's life and physical education of adult's life; the education for adult's spiritual life includes the intellectual education of adult's life, the moral education of adult's life and the aesthetic education of adult's life; the education for adult's social life includes the training of adult's subsistence qualities, the training of adult's citizen qualities and the training of adult's vocational qualities.Directed by the values of life adult education, its specific practice should consider adult's natural life as its beginning and ending, and put it on the key position in the whole course of adult education to give it true consideration. And this should be embodied through the following aspects. Firstly, establish adult education's object of training "complete life", by which we can promote the unity and harmonious developments between an adult's flesh and spirit, as well as his recognition and emotion, individual and groups, confinement and freedom. Secondly, lay the courses of caring about life in adult education, for which we should establish the values with consciousness of life, choose the contents coming from the subsistence, emphasize the life experiencing application and form the evaluation of promoting life's developments in terms of adult education's courses. Thirdly, mould the relationship of sharing a common fate between teachers and students in adult education, by which we can promote the transcendence of teacher's and student's life and the fulfillment of the mutual sustenance and creation between them in order to let them experience life growing together during the performing and watching. Lastly, form the application values of fitting life's developments in terms of adult education's electronic media, by which we hope that adult's life can be endowed with agility in the combination of electronic media and teaching manner, and the humane spirit can be filled in the combination of electronic media and teaching contents, and also we can create a "life environment" in the combination of electronic media and adult's learning activities. Only so, can adults poetically exist in adult education.
