Educational Media Selection Of Movies And TV Education In Normal Universities

Movies and TV education in normal universities plays an important role,which carry out aesthetic education,enrich our arts courses, improve the knowledge structure of students,improve student artistic values help the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. Movie&TV education in Normal Universities is opened in 1985.Because courses time is short ,there is no textbooks and teaching programs, arrangement of teaching,there are several mistakes in educational media selection, teacher decide education media at will, it can not accomplish educational aim. The author sort out the concepts and features, basis of educational media ,which stress the important role of the educational media. Focus on the factors affecting educational media selection,give my advice hope for benefit our education.Although the author collect a lot of information and analysis theory, the author's ability is limited, Some issues still need other scholer to further study.There are seven parts of this paper. In the first part , the background,situation,research method and outcome of the paper are introduced.The second part is the concept of educational media, First, the concept of movie&TV educational media is intordused. It mainly refers to works of movie&TV art. Then it proves the status and development of educational media.Last, it proves the characteristics of the media, which is different from other art forms,which are an integration of media and diversity of education; authenticity of media and reality of education; dreamland of media and enlightening of education.The third part is the basis of the sellection.The teacher select educational media according to position,nature and taist of curriculum.The fourth part is the perspective of status. It is to analyze the present situation.There are some misunderstanding and tendency in selection,it include : lack of sexual and delivery, emphasis on the historical, focused on the home works. The tendency include artisticless tendency, specialization tendency and entertainment tendency.The fifth part is analysis of the factors affecting the educational media sellection, primarily by the teaching content, types of courses,teachers,students and the other factors, such as : political, and cultural factors.The sixth part is to make suggestion and find out the ways to solve the problem.Based on the above analysis, the author believes that in the teaching content, the teacher should change their minds,from knowledge education to the overall aesthetic education;from special education to humane education;from passive acceptance education to harmony education.And strictly control the aspect of educational media sellection, it includes: complementary of diversity and types; stress of aesthetic and education ; integration of quality and modernity.For contentious works that are liked by students, the teachers should take positive guidance, strengthen criticism awareness of students.The last part is the conclusion.It is the author's expectations for movie&TV education in future. I hope this paper will give good advice for educational media selection.
