The postgraduate education is an important part of the Higher Education in our country. Innovate the conceptions, system and function mechanism of the postgraduate education, actively implement the reform of curriculum system innovation and the contents, methods and means of teaching to cultivate the wholly-developed creative student is one of the trends of the higher education reforms. The conformity of information technology and research-based cultivation mode of student is an urgent problem of the education reform under the new situation.The thesis begins with the currently actuality of the postgraduate education in our country, clarified possibility and necessity of launching the web-based research learning for postgraduate. Based on the analyze of the current research learning platforms'function and peculiarity, we pointed out that the research learning platform for postgraduate should satisfy their daily course study, thesis writing and network-based oral defense, etc. On the foundation of the requirement analyze, consulting the theories of software engineering, we particularly designed the platform's function module, finally accomplished the construction and testing of the platform by JSP and SQL Server.The thesis mainly falls into five parts:The first part ascertained the research problem and the range of the research on the basis of expatiating the research background and the actuality of the present research. The research learning is already became the main method of the postgraduates'learning. The development of network made great support to the research learning. But at present the research learning platform that aimed to the postgraduate was rare, so constructing a research learning platform that is suit to the postgraduate is of great importance and meaningful.The second part is the foundation theories of the web-based research learning.This study clarifies the support and relation for research learning and the meaning of research learning within network environment, based on research learning theories ,Constructivism Learning Theory, definitude its connotation and characteristics. For the general model of the web-based research study,Web quest is mainly achieved at abroad, it includes six components: introduction, task, process, resource, evaluate and conclusion. At home the general model includes four parts: experiences, preparation, implementation, conclusions. All of these theories and models offered great support and helps of web-based research learning for postgraduate.The third part is a specific discussion of the functional modules of the Web-based research learning platform.In this part we expatiated the functional requirements and determine the function and role for different users of the platform, based on the design concepts, principles , implementation and diagnoses. Finally using the software engineering theories, contrived the functions of the platform's modules. The platform includes learner registration, login, news, learner characteristic analyze, subjection navigation, my research-room, production, resource center, tutor information, chat room, forum and the manage modules, simultaneity we use Net meeting to accomplish the long-distance oral defense.The fourth part clarifies the technique implementation of the web-based research learning platform.This part mainly through the compare of the Dynamic Website technologi- ies such as ASP, JSP, PHP, ensured the construction of the B/S three-tier structure of the platform by JSP. Based on the preparatory work on of the platform, we discussed the actualized methods of each modules such as data encrypts, learner characteristic analyze, the actualization of study and evaluation, long-distance oral defense and the structure of database. Finally we put the platform to different versions of the Windows Operating system for interface and functional testing , the results accorded with our anticipation.The fifth part summarizes the main works and advantages of the platform, prospecting the following research. The advantages of the platform are as follows:â… . Under the consideration of the separation of tutor and student in the web-based research learning, we introduced the learner analysis module.â…¡The platform developed from the course study and the writing of the thesis for postgraduate to meet the need of their study and thesis accomplishment.â…¢.In view of the current evaluation's insufficiency, we constructed a dynamic evaluation model, from different dimensions such as learning process, research results, ability development and other aspects evaluation.â…£.Using Net meeting achieved the long-distance oral defense.â…¤. Adopting the"module"method to construct the platform, facilitating the follow-up expansion and mai- ntenance of the platform.With the development of Web-based research learning and the technology network, people will pay more attention to Web-based research learning and construct more comprehensive, humanized platform of web-based research learning for postgraduate, inaugurating a new prospect !...
