Kiang semen emphasized that : "fundamentally speaking, the competition of nowadays and the future is the completion of the talents" As to our country 's present task ,talents are the key in implementing the strategy of revitalizing our country through science and education .Kiang semen pointed out that "we must optimize the educational structure , devote major efforts in strengthening the basic education ,developing the vocational education ,adult education and higher education " Inspiration is important in utilizing the talents. Kiang semen advanced that "The talents are the most significant resources in the development of science and our country; we ought to establish a complete incentive mechanism which is good for fostering and utilizing the talents.Education is the foundation of the long -term project. To be the important part of the vocational education, the task of the higher vocational education is to foster the specialists who can master the high-level technology. Teachers of the higher vocational colleges have double identities; they are both talents and those who foster talents, so inspiration is more important for them. In the light of the western modern incentive theory, this thesis firstly presents the appearance of the higher vocational education in our country and the current situation of the teachers in these colleges .Then using the western modern incentive theory for reference to improve our incentive mechanism. After that ,the author analyzes the situation of the teachers in F college and its incentive mechanism , puts forward his opinion on improving the incentive mechanism of our colleges, i.e., adhere to the principles of inspiration ,reflect the characteristics and demands of the teachers in college ,choose the appropriate mechanism according to the situation .Finally, the author points out that the task of improving the incentive mechanism of the college teachers lies in drawing up a plan ,being clear about the purpose of each stage; distributing the posts rationally; paying attention to enhance personal quality; reforming the system of evaluating the titles ,of assessment of achievements ,of distribution of the income .The aim of the incentive mechanism in vocational college is to make full use of each teacher's potential. Through realizing each teacher's goal to realize the collective's goal, which means the unity of these two goals can be achieved objectively. Then we can foster more and more skillful specialists.
