With the development of society and the education reform, it was found that strengthening teachers’ cooperation is an important way to promote teacher’s professional development. So teachers’ cooperation becomes a hot topic in the study of current teacher education. In the view of western social interaction theory,exploring the ways of promoting teachers’ effective cooperation is what this paper want to study. This study adopts literature method and historical method to summarize the data of teachers’ cooperation. The paper uses social interaction theory to describe the natural state of teachers’ cooperation, then it analyzes the current problems existing in the teachers’ cooperation. Finally this paper puts forward the suggestions to promote teachers’ effective cooperation.It consists of five components:The introduction covers the reason why to choose this topic, the domestic and abroad research, the definition of related concepts, the research ideas and so on.The first chapter not only elaborates the history of teacher cooperation development, but also summarizes the current development trend and characteristics of teacher cooperation. Finally, it introduces the concrete forms of teachers’ cooperation.The second chapter is the theoretical basis. It analyzes the meaning, essence, principle and the current trend of teachers’ cooperation in the view of western social interaction theory.The third chapter rethinks the current problems in teachers’ cooperation, and analyzes the factors which is affecting teachers’ cooperation.The fourth chapter bases on the experiences of excellent cooperation models and western social interaction theory to seek for the ways to promote teachers’ cooperation, and it tries to build a external environment which is beneficial to teachers’ cooperation.
