The teacher career development is becoming the focal point which the educationist, the makers of education policy, and the general teachers pay attention to in our country, and the elementary education of the countryside also receives more and more attention from all circles of society. "Action Plan for Promoting Education for 21st Century" points out that after 2000 we will continue to implement "the compulsory education project of national poor area", and constructing the high grade countryside teachers troop, is the need of advancing the elementary education reform, as well as the basic guarantee of comprehensively developing qualify education. "Chemistry Curriculum Standard of Full-time Compulsory Education (Experimental Manuscript)" and "Chemistry Curriculum Standard for Common High School (Experimental Manuscript)" which are issued by the Ministry of Education involve the education idea, the curriculum system, the teaching ways, the learning ways, the appraising ways and so on. Moreover, they will put forward a higher request to the rural middle school chemistry teachers inevitably, and bring about an opportunity as well as a challenge to them.Seeing from the domestic and foreign existing research, we can find that the experts and the scholars pay no attention to the career development of teachers in the rural middle school, and there is hardly any research about the career development of discipline teachers in the rural middle school. At the same time, there is short of the essential analysis on factors that affect it, so it is blind and low efficient. My clumsy thesis carries on the investigation and the analysis on the present situation and the influence factors about the career development of the teachers in the rural middle school, and proposes the corresponding countermeasure. I hope that it can play the role, which offers a few ordinary introductory remarks and makes others offer their valuable ideas. So that it can make experts of the discipline instruction and the scholars as well as the related administrative departments pay more attention to the countryside teachers, the countryside teacher's development, as well as their need. Moreover, through strategy method discussion for promoting the career development of the teacher in the rural middle school, this research wishes to provide the help for the growth of the teacher in the countryside.This research includes following several parts altogether: The first part, the introduction, includes the research origin, the literature summarizing, the definition of related conception, the comprehensive design about investigation study and so on. The method of this research includes the literature research and the investigation study; the investigation methodology includes the questionnaire survey, individual interview, the non-participation observation, on-the-spot investigation and so on. The investigation objects are the education committee in Shizhu County, Youyang County, the Fengjie County of Changing city as well as 70 chemistry teachers, 177 students, 10 schoolmasters and 10 teaching directors of 21 countryside middle schools in the three counties. Moreover, this research has also made the preliminary inspection on the culture , the economy, the environment of the three counties.The second part, the analysis on the present situation and the influence factors about the career development of chemistry teachers of middle schools in Chongqing poor area, is one of main body contents in this article. This article has an investigation study on the present situation of career development of chemistry teachers of middle schools in Chongqing poor area. Simultaneously, there is also an investigation and analysis on the influence factors of career development of chemistry teachers of middle schools in Chongqing poor area. The investigation tool includes the self-made questionnaire that is "Present Situation and Influence Factor of Career Development of Chemistry Teachers of Middle Schools in Chongqing Poor Area (including teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire)". It also includes the interview compendium to the education committees, the middle school principals in the countryside, the middle school teaching directors there, the middle school chemistry teachers, as well as the record compendium on attending the lecture, and so on. These materials are analyzed by using the methods of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The research draws the conclusion that is based on the analysis of the firsthand information, which contains the questionnaire survey, the interview materials, on-the-spot investigation materials, the records on attending lectures. The findings indicate, due to the influence of so many factors, the education idea of teachers in the countryside middle school is backward, their consciousness of career development is lacking, their knowledge structure and teaching skill do not adapt to the need of the reform of chemistry new curriculum. These factors include chemistry teachers' individual factor such as occupation acidy, the inside and outside environments of the school, chemistry teacher's education, and so on.The third part is about the countermeasure discussion of the career development of chemistry teachers of middle schools in Chongqing poor area. This article that unifies the question discovered in the investigation study, separately discusses the countermeasure of the career development of chemistry teachers in middle schools from self-development of teachers, the establishment of driving mechanism, as well as providing corresponding environments, establishing effective policy systems, and so on.The fourth part, which is the conclusion, has pointed out this article's deficiency as well as its pending research direction.
