Since 1980's, the economical development brings surplus labor in rural areas. To accelerate the economical development, the central government takes some measures to promote the mobility between the rural and urban areas. Especially the census register policy, it provides more opportunities for the villagers to seek fortunes in the city, which speeds up the mobility in the city. Thus, it brings about a tide of peasant labor. The age of these peasant labors are mainly between 18 and 45. Most of them undertake the burden of fostering their descendents. However, because they are always drifting about, it is difficult for them to take care of their children and have to leave them at home. Thus, rear children come into being. The problem in their education stands out. But up till now, few researches have been done in this field. The objects in this paper are the rear children in Yuelai County. This paper made an investigation on their school educational environment, family educational environment and community educational environment to seek the strategies to improve their educational environment. This research consists of the following parts:Chapterâ… Literature review. This part represents the achievements in this field at home and abroad and explores the orientation can be further developed.Chapterâ…¡Introduction. This part focuses on the purpose, object, content and significance of this research. And the author also introduces the methods, key points and creativity in the research.Chapterâ…¢In this part, the author analyses the educational environment of these rear children. This kind of educational environment consists of material environment, social environment and spiritual environment. From these three aspects, the author describes their study and life conditions and states the advantages and disadvantages to these rear children.Chapterâ…£This part focuses on their family educational environment and community educational environment. First, the author describes their life conditions from the a spects of family structure, process of family education and family cultural environment. And then the author analyses the positive and negative effects of the family environment on these rear children. On the one hand, by working in the city, these parents can afford the fees for their children and make them continue their study. Meanwhile, the positive attitude can have effect on their children. However, on the other hand, it breaks down the balance of the family. It had bad effects on their children.Chapterâ…¤The author puts forward some counterpart strategies to improve the educational conditions in rural a reas. It is a systematical program which requires the government, educational department, schools, parents and community to work together. To board in the school can be a starting point. The author explains the feasibility of this proposal and give her idea to carry it out.
