Currently, many domestic scholars have reached to the same opinion: the teaching practice is closely related to the success of the new curriculum reform. Some educational institutions have found out that teacher's books are playing an important role in the process of teaching, in the research of teaching materials. So the professional books for teachers should be paid sufficient attention. At present, there are several studies about the function and the content of the traditional teaching reference book. However, the whole of the teacher's books on a certain subject hasn't got an in-depth and general study. Therefore, the purpose of this dissertation is through an in-depth research mainly to find out the basic actualities and problems of the physics teacher's books in Chinese senior high schools, and provide some valuable information in order to enhance the development of the teacher's books.The whole of this thesis is composed of the actuality investigation and the text study.Part one: the basic actuality investigation on the physics teacher's books in senior high school. This part adopted some conventional methods of investigation and collected correlative information. First, this research gained the main types of physics teacher's books through the marketing research of the internet and Xinhua book stores, and then handed out the nationwide teacher questionnaire, in order to obtain the basic using status of physics teacher's books.Part two: the text study of physics teacher's books in Senior high school. The first investigation found out the teacher's books, which were suited for the physics teaching materials, were widely used among physics teachers in senior high school. So the second study mainly analyzed these types of teacher's books about the structure of system and the content of main columns, in order to see their respective features and changes.The results of this research are as follows:(1)Overall, the majority of physics teachers in senior high school take an attitude of "basically accepting" the existing teacher's books. More than 1/3 of physics teachers consider that teacher's books can not satisfy the need of their teaching work. In addition, through variable analysis, the informants who participate in the new physics curriculum have a better accepted attitude towards the existing teacher's books than who don't.(2)The book stores mainly sell the physics teacher's books in senior high school, which were suited for the teaching material of physics. Most of them are teaching plan books, teaching reference books, and teacher's books suited for student's assistant books. At the same time, these books have the wide-spread use in senior high school, each type of which is used by 80ï¼…-90ï¼…informants. Only about 25ï¼…informants use other types of physics teacher's books, such as teaching magazines, teaching experience volumes, teaching methods, and so on.(3)The using status of teaching plan books shows the marked characteristic which is changed by the years of teaching, the title of technical post, schools, and so on. The using rate of teaching planning books is on the high side among the young teachers and who have the low title of technical post, and then decreases as the growth of their teaching seniority. The teachers who used the new textbooks of this physics curriculum reform use the teaching plan books more often than who don't. The investigation also finds that the teachers in town schools depend more on the teacher's books, which mainly are teaching planning books and teaching reference books, than who in urban.(4)The most of informants think the teacher's books, which are suited for the teaching material of physics, can help them with understanding teaching objectives, analyzing system of the text book, optimizing the teaching design, solving difficulties of the knowledge, and so on, but are less useful for changing teaching concepts and improving teaching efficiency.(5)The physics teaching reference books have formed the fixed writing mode, which has the dendriform writing structure according to the sequence of teaching materials. Their content is composed of the teaching requirement, the teaching propose, the analysis of teaching material, the teaching guidance, the exercise answer, the reference information, and so on.The teaching plan books also follow the sequence of teaching material, and are designed according as the rules of teaching in classroom. Their content is composed of teaching objectives, teaching difficulty and importance, teaching methods, teaching process, the design of writing on blackboard, reference information, and so on. Otherwise, the teacher's books suited for student's assistant books don't have the fixed writing system that is appended some "teacher's content" to the student's assistant books, which is mainly about the keys to exercises, analysis of knowledge and teaching suggestions.(6)Compared with the traditional books, the new physics teaching reference books have some new exploration in the hierarchical structure, layout, content design, and so on. Some traditional contents in new teaching reference books, which mainly are teaching requirements, analysis of textbook, teaching suggestions, teaching resources, incarnate the new teaching ideas of this physics curriculum, and contact with course standards, teaching materials, and teachers' actual needs more closely. In addition, the new teaching reference books make an attempt on the study guidance and teaching evaluation, but which still is lack of.The new teaching plan books, which suit to the new physics textbooks in this curriculum reform, are written according to the ideas of this new curriculum. At a certain extent, the new books content teachers' needs in the new teaching reform.
