During the teaching of physics in junior high schools,it is an important subject to integrate the history of physics into the reform of basic education at home and abroad.The physics curriculum standard(2011 edition)affirmed and emphasized the educational function of the history of physics.According to the new curriculum reform,it is one of the inevitable trends of the physical education reform to combine the teaching of physics with historical background.However,at this stage,the enrollment rate is still an important indicator for evaluating many schools and teachers,and testing still plays the most important role in education.Therefore,many teachers still choose the traditional mode of examination-based education and center on the test focus during the teaching process.This mode of teaching ignores the overall development of students,which contradicts the concept of three-dimensional curriculum goals.Many scholars at home and abroad have carried out a lot of work in the theoretical and practical researches on the subject of “Integrating the History of Physics in Junior Physics Education”,which is highlighted in the two aspects of theoretical support and development of educational functions.However,most of these studies expound and prove the important role of the history of physics while teaching,and the research on the problems and obstacles generated in the practical operations is relatively weak.The purpose of this paper is to fill the weakness of research at home and abroad,Starting from the current situation of Physics Teaching in junior middle schools in Xining,the physics history of junior middle school physics teaching in Xining city of Qinghai province was investigated.The thesis analyzes the related descriptions about the history of physics in the curriculum standards,the presentations on the contents of the history of physics in the junior physical textbooks of the People's Education Press,and the relevant papers of the history of physics in Xining City,Qinghai Province during the past seven years.A questionnaire survey on the integration of the history of physics into the teaching has been conducted.Textbooks,high school entrance examinations,and questionnaires respectively present a number of problems in the current teaching of the history of the physics.Then a comprehensive analysis is carried out on the issues,and some feasible suggestions are proposed.
