As there exist problems in the field of college theoretical course teaching in China, the present paper proposes a theoretical hypothesis on college theoretical course teaching under the Constructivist Learning Environment (CLE) based on the characteristics of college theoretical course and the Information Teaching Design theory. The paper analyzes CLE Perspective in depth through the case study of Communication Principles course teaching. Then it further explores the great significance of CLE on the college theoretical course teaching. With these understandings, the strategies of applying information teaching design in college theoretical course teaching are given in the paper.The paper covers six chapters.Chapter one is introduction. It introduces the research questions, significance and methodology based on the college theoretical course research abroad and in China.Chapter two is literature review. This chapter presents the literature concerning the college theoretical course and CLE research abroad and in China according to the research questions.Chapter three is the theoretical basis. This chapter makes a deep analysis on the factors and connotation of college theoretical course and informational teaching design and CLE .Chapter four is the theoretical hypothesis. In this chapter, It proposes a theoretical hypothesis on college theoretical course teaching under the CLE.Chapter five is empirical study. In this chapter, the theoretical hypotheses are applied into the teaching practice through the case study of chapter of the personal communication of Communication Principle .The rationality of each factor in the proposed CLE system is under investigation and study from the perspectives of scientific quality, validity and popular quality.Chapter six is research conclusion and discussion. This chapter points out the scientific quality and validity quality on college theoretical course teaching method under the CLE from the summary of the research conclusion. In the meanwhile, It proposes the questions and insufficiency of the research. It needs to be further research and perfect.
