| Changshu is located in the center of the developed area"the longtriangle", close to China's largest economic hub Shanghai, in addition to the Suzhou, possess a unique geographical advantages. Changshu is a historical city,and is a new industrial city. IN the new century, Changshu enters the time that economic and social development is bestness in its history. Changshu ranks second in the list of"the National County-level Economy Basic Competitiveness",and ranks fifths in the list of"the National Hundred Strong County-level Cities",and won the national honors more than 20 items.These achievements come from the innovative undertaking of the city's 1.04 million people, and also include a large number of floating population's contribution. Up to the end of 2006, the number of Changshu floating population is over 800,000, the ratio between"Changshu person"and floating population is 1:1.3 .Floating population has become a very important part of Changshu population. The rapid growth of floating population furnishes vigor to Changshu's development,but at the same time ,the traditional management system of local government is facing serious crisis and challenge. This dissertation researches the influence of the floating population on Changshu social economy development and seeks the countermeasures,and has some practical significance obviously. It is beneficial to understanding the problem of Changshu floating population,and can provide some reference value for other similar cities.This dissertation has five chapters. Chapter 1 summarizes the purposes, significances, present research conditions,the content and methods of this paper. Chapter 2 describes the basic situation of Changshu floating population by using large amounts of sampling survey materials,and grasps their principal character accurately. Chapter 3 analyzes the influence of floating population on Changshu social economy development objectively. Chapter 4 completely analyses the new situation which Changshu floating population management will face. At last, this paper gives some suggestions to improve floating population management. |
